Dreptul la Adevăr
About the publication
An independent publication that explains human rights in Romania and Europe from the primary sources.
What it is
Dreptul la Adevăr (“The Right to Truth”) is an independent publication launched in October 2026, founded and edited by Valentin Huculici, an author and human rights educator. It explains judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, Romanian law and European Union law in plain language, with one aim: that anyone can know their rights and what to do when they are not respected.
What we publish
- Practical guides: “What to do if…”, step by step.
- Judgments explained: new decisions of the European Court of Human Rights and of Romanian courts, in plain language.
- Cases that changed the law, told through the people behind them.
- Tools: checklists, deadlines and the institutions you can turn to.
How we work
Every article starts from the text of the judgment, law or treaty, and the sources are listed at the end with links. Every article shows the date it was last checked. Articles explain rights in general and do not replace a lawyer’s advice on your own situation. Read the full editorial standards.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, write to contact@valentinhuculici.com. Every report is checked. If it is well founded, we correct the article and add a note at the end saying what changed and when. Mistakes are never removed quietly.
Independence
The publication belongs to no political party, receives no funding and publishes no paid or sponsored content.
